Jaz and Emma's Summer Bucket List
With the school year coming to a close, it’s time to turn our attention to what is to come: summer. The new season means all dilemmas are washed away under the glorious rays of the sun and it’s time to focus on what our beautiful town has to offer as we try to pass time without assignments looming over our heads.
1. Picnic
Picnics are a great way to get outdoors and are the perfect excuse to dress up and have a photoshoot!
2. Thrift
Shopping secondhand is amazing for the environment and is super fun, especially with friends and family!
3. Volunteer
There are so many volunteer opportunities in our community at places such as The Humane Society, children’s events through the parks department, and more!
4. Paint Pottery
The Fire Escape includes all-inclusive prices when you pick out your pieces, and they have options as low as $6!
5. Stargaze
You don’t have to go far to see the stars--just head a bit out of the city to gaze at the night sky!
6. Farmer’s Market
Oshkosh has an amazing farmer’s market from their food trucks to the fresh flowers!
7. Strawberry Pick
Both a fun and tasty activity strawberry picking is the ideal activity to get unique pictures for your Instagram feed!
8. Swim
The Y, Pollock, or even the lake are perfect places to put on a bathing suit and take a swim to relax--just don’t forget sunscreen!
9. New Hobby
From crocheting, to running, to painting, there are a million new hobbies to learn that can fill up summer free time!
10. Roadtrip
Whether it be with friends or family, roadtrips of any length are the perfect way to escape Oshkosh for a bit and discover new sights!
11. Menominee Park
Between its beautiful lake views, zoo, and parks, Menominee offers many fun activities to enjoy the summer heat!
