Thumbs Up, Thumbs Down

Thumbs down…

Thumbs up…

... To the homecoming theme that, despite the potential, was not followed through with many marvelous masquerade masks, (or the other kind, to be honest.)

... To the cold weather seeping its way into Wisconsin fall. Although, you simply cannot expect West students to wear jackets in any climate.

... To the homecoming withdrawal experienced by staff and students alike. The beginning of the year builds up to homecoming week, just to roll downhill until Thanksgiving break.

... To the endless spiral of student fights, causing staff to frantically pull students into mismatched classrooms and constantly disturbing the educational process.

... To consistent No Bones days, bringing despair to the student body week after week.

... To Bob the custodian, and all of the good work he has done for Oshkosh West in his time here. Thank you, Bob! - Index

... To a successful homecoming dance. Despite some crowd surfing and a little bit of vomit, it was a fun return to school dances. Thank you, student government!

... To the one act play, One Stoplight Town, making it through district and into sectionals! The stoplight has turned green for them to head into the competition.

... To an abundance of West’s all sports teams making it to playoffs and state. Congratulations to Wildcat football, girls cross country, soccer, and tennis!

... To the new temporary dean, Mrs. Pakula. Although she will be missed in the gymnasium, we look forward to her assistance to the Wildcat nation this year!
