Dear "sweater lover"
Heyyyyy Mulligan, I'm having trouble letting go of something that was really important to me. I know it sounds crazy, but how do you let go of something that wasn't supposed to leave in the first place.
Goodbyes can be tough, believe me. I haven’t lived thousands of years and seen the birth and death of numerous civilizations without experiencing my fair share. I guess, for me, it depends on what you’re trying to let go of. I’m assuming it’s a person, and if it’s a romantic partner, then I guess all I have to say is that high school is not a pedestal of mature relationships. You’ll find better. You’ll experience more. I guess finding things you enjoy about yourself and trying to become independent in that regard is the best thing for you to do while working to leave whatever that is. Whatever it is, it’s not the end of the world. The value of life ascends the material value or value of any other person. There’s more to life than whatever that important thing is. But alas, what do I know? I only see all. Thanks for your question, sweater lover, and I hope things are well. :)
